Where did you find those, Sherri?? Those are GREAT!! Are there patterns to go along with them?

They are pictures from Janel our newest volunteer, She can sew!!!!!!!!! And wants to help the animals.. We are trying to brain storm Ideas that we can use for an ebay auction and selling at vets and groomers offices..


I even joined professional crafters to see if we can find more help with getting items to sell so we can keep taking in the special need babies..

Judy from halfway home takes in lots of special need babies.. These guys would have NO where to go with out rescue and that Is the true meaning.

I am hoping lots more of our adopters will help us out with fundraising.. Taking care of the animals and vet runs animal control run takes up lot of our time and their never seems enough time to put together fundraising...
But I hoping to pull in some support and I know it will come together.

I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm new here and just trying to find my way around the boards and such.

I make crafts and have been doing it for about 12 years now. I'm open to suggestions about items to make that might sell good for fundraisers. If there's a pattern for it...I can make it.

Also...some ideas...
I can make items to donate....sell on e'bay or however
some people can get together with me to help make some items...thus making more items quicker, thus more money raised for the animals....(trust me, I can teach ya how to make some of this stuff...I used to teach classes)
people can take a sample item into where they work...take orders on the item taking a deposit to cover the cost of making the item...then keeping all the profit for the animals. (my dad used to do this at his work and he always got me a ton of orders, especially on the holiday stuff)
I thought of maybe a small booth at a craft mall, but this would cut into the profit a little too much probably...not as big of a gain as some of the other ideas.


I also do scrapbooking...so anything you can think of with that I can do also. Like handmade greeting cards with your pet on them...something like that???

Any other ideas??? I'm open. I'm a stay at home mom so I have some spare time each day to work on stuff....and I'm eager to help.
