Many years ago, When my cat Freeway was only about a year old, I also had a young male cat named Mister. At the time, I lived in the country, so it was very safe to let them go outside to play, which they loved, for awhile during the day. One day, Freeway decided to be exceptionally brave, which was totally out of character for her, and climb up a small tree in the front yard. Upon hearing her meows, I tried unsuccessfully, for quite awhile, to coax her down from the tree. Out of the blue, Mister wandered up, scurried up the tree to Freeway, and stayed there with her for close to a minute, if though they were possibly devising a plan. Suddenly, Mister began to climb back down from the tree, with Freeway following in his footsteps close behind him! Mister was definitely the hero of the day, and to my knowledge that was Freeway's LAST encounter with a tree !
