Do Dogs Get Poison Ivy - Or Give It To People?




My friend has a really bad case of poison ivy. She has no idea how she got it since
she has not been in the garden, park or woods. So she asked me if her dog could
have passed it on to her.

So, can a dog get poison ivy - and if so, can he pass it on to you?

It is a very interesting question. I got curious and started asking other vets I know
if they have ever seen dogs with poison ivy or poison oak. There is not much
