Sometimes with fostering a dog wraps your heart around their paw.. That was what is was like for Gwennie.. Gwennie has won the hearts of
Ruth & Ken Anderson and she will have an at home mom and dad to love and snuggle with. I could not be happier for her, but she takes a piece of my heart with her on her new adventures.

As always we love to see updates and pictures as Gwennie becomes the newest member of the Anderson family

this came into my personal messenger.

Gwenny has changed our lives and stollen our hearts. We bought her a car seat for safe travel and she loves it. Now we have to make sure the garage door is down when we take her for walks or she will pull a sit in by the car door. She especially likes to ride with me to the yarn store in Freeland where the owner treats her like royalty and she receives much petting by other customers.

Gwenny gets along well with our three cats. We still have a little work to do to convince her that her food is better than theirs. For a while a 12 inch gate worked, but after two weeks she learned the art of getting over it and we have had to become a little more creative. Her goal has been to please since she moved in and because of this she seems to learn quickly. She has learned to sit and wait for her food dish to be set in front of her without jumping up and to wait until her feet are wiped before entering the house on rainy days.

Ruth,

Thanks so much for the update. It's amazing how quickly she has responded to you two. That shows how good you have been with her, and how much she loves you already. It's amazing considering the situation she came from. She lived in a basement and had been used for breeding. She didn't get a lot of socializing, and certainly no training of any kind. So, all her progress shows what a great, smart little girl she is.

Thanks again for taking her into your hearts and home. Looking forward to more updates.
