Michelangelo was found by my cousin. No one claimed him and she already has 4 cats who didn't want a new brother.

So Mikey is now looking for his new home and residing at Bay Valley Animal Hospital until then.

Mikey is about 9 months old, male seal point Siamese. He tested negative for feline leukemia and AIDs, has been vaccinated against rabies and had his first distemper combination, and has been dewormed. He will be neutered early next week.

He's a beautiful boy and I would love to have him, but I already have enough cats, actually probably too many. I'm sure he won't be needing a home for long.

He won't be homeless very long for sure.

Mikey has an adoption pending with one of our existing clients who is a great cat mom! =)

Great news for Mikey.

Today was a VERY depressing day for me. Mikey had a congenital heart condition and was suffering. He was put to sleep this morning. It has broken my heart and the hearts of the family who was so loving and took him in. They only had him for a short time, less than 2 months, and have already had to say goodbye.

Mikey (Mocha) touched the hearts of every person he has met. Today was a heartbreaking day and he will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry for Michelangeo and his family. This is truly heartbreaking, But I hope they find comfort in that at least he was loved.

I am so sorry to hear about Mocha, I cried when I read about his passing. I know it was hard for you too, since you placed him. Even though he only had a short time with his family, it was probably the BEST time of his life. Animals can tell when someone likes them, or doesn't, or even loves them. Mocha knew that he was really loved and that's everything we all need, even animals. So even though it was a short time, it was still a successful rescue, cause he got to know the feelings of love, trust, and security - thanks to his family. Please pass on my condolences to them.
