Paddie’s adoption went really well….Ken , Cindy and their aussie mix, Nicki came down around 11:30…..Paddie and Nicki picked each other out right away in our sea of dogs and were buddies at first sight….it was fun to see. Ken and Cindy loved the Paddler right away and couldn't stop hug­ging him. It was a fine end to a long journey and the beginning of another . Paddie is very lucky to have found such a dog oriented family. He looks great with his straight leg, that has hair on it now and filled out nicely. He is using it most of the time and will continue to improve, I am sure. Thank-you all for making this possible for him. Will attach a pix of Paddie and his new family and Ken said they will send more…..

We finally settled on a name. His name is Lucky! He is a very lucky dog. Thanks for letting us adopt such a wonderful dog. We have something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. When we take him to the beach he runs around and you would never know that his leg was not right. You really only notice it when he walks or first get up. We went for a hike in the dunes and on the beach this morning at 7:30 am and he was so happy running around and playing in the surf with Nicki. I am pretty sure he likes it here. We are trying not to spoil him too much. I will send more pics later.
