Rowan is currently enrolled in the RPSM Canine Correctional Program at the Coldwater Prison Complex. He is learning all basic obedience commands, his manners; he is being socialized with other dogs and people, and is completely potty trained. He will be finished with his training in late August. At that time, he will be ready to go to a loving forever home. All of our dogs in the Canine Correctional Program are completely vaccinated, spayed/neutered; micro chipped and have received 3 months of training. When the training is complete they are equivalent to a Canine Good Citizen***********

Update on Rowan in Prison - Week #5
Rowan's trainer reports that his training is coming along very well indoors and outdoors .
He is still slightly distracted by birds and squirrels but he will still do his commands while he stares .
He is learning his commands and tricks very quickly .
He is also starting to play more and more with the other dogs and gets along pretty well with them .
Rowan is very friendly towards people and loves to be petted and have his belly scratched .

Rowan's trainer reports : Its been another great week with Rowan and I'm at the point where I review his commands and tricks to keep them fresh and sharp .
He does his commands/tricks without treats but at times will "forget" how to do them until you bring out a treat , then he "remembers" .
He has been a blast to work with , hang out , and play with . Rowan likes to play fetch with a tennis ball .
Does great with being brushed , bathed , and teeth brushed .

Rowan's trainers report: He loves to go for walks, plays well with other dogs and has shown no aggression with food
toys, people or during play. Alot of times if you talk like scooby-doo to him he will talk back.
Rowan also knows heel, come, sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, off, front, finish shake left or right paw, high five. He also can rollover take a bow, crawl,
leave it, and drop it. Rowan is extremely friendly, playful and one smart boy!

Rowan and I are having fun, he is a silly dog.
He is also doing good at dealing with distractions. We are working on his commands,
