Our beloved Sassy went to the rainbow bridge yesterday. She would have turned 17 in June. We got her from Michigan Anti-Cruelty about 15 years ago, she was two when we got her. She gave us so much joy. She was a wonderful dog ,she loved to play, she really loved little chipmunks. She used to watch them from the deck and would kind of squeel when she saw one. She was a sheltie mix, probably Yorkie a real heintz 57. She was very much loved by all that knew her, she was a favorite at the vets, except when she had to have her nails cut. We miss her dearly, and I know she is running free of pain now. I hope she knew how much we loved her. Rest in Peace my baby.

I am sorry for your loss, and know just how you feel. I have 8 setters buried in the orchard and I deeply miss every one of them. You will see her again, in a better place. Hang in there.
