Storm ran away, (between Manchester and Clinton) chasing something into the woods, on 4/1/04 and hasn't returned the way she usually does. She is about 3 years old, slender, a doberman mix with floppy ears and some white on brown tips and chest. She is very smart and can sit, beg, shake and lay down. She is very loving and licks hands. We miss her! 517-456-4842

To Pat about her lost dog. My heart goes out to you I know how it feels. One thing I suggest you do is to check the woods thouroughly. You may find that she was somehow caught on something and is out there waiting for you. Take along a lot of friends to cover the whole area. As you come to the edge of the woods, if you find any houses knock on their doors and ask if they've seen her. Sometimes people keep stray dogs, especially if they're nice, without running an ad. People have been known to keep nice dogs even if there is a lost ad for the dog. Checking all the houses in the area may turn up something. Even if the people you check with don't have her maybe they can tell you if one of their neighbors suddenly got a "new" dog. They may only be able to say that they did see her, but even then you'd at least have a trail to follow. When you go looking, go with several pieces of paper with your name and phone number on them to give to ANYONE you see. If someone then sees the dog they will be more apt to call you cause all they have to do is grab that piece of paper. it is so easy for them. If, God forbid, you happen to find out that she has died, at least you will have an answer. Believe me, not knowing what happened to her will be the worst thing that could happen. Your mind will picture all kinds of gruesome things that could have happened. Knowing she is dead will be heartbreaking, true, but you will have closure and KNOW that she is not suffering some horrible fate. Also, if she is gone, remind yourself that you gave her a great life and she was happy, and she will be waiting for you at The Rainbow Bridge. Hope you find her and that she's ok. Keep us posted.

Patty, prayers and white light to you!!! My 7 month-old kitten went missing for 3 days last week and I was a BASKET CASE!!! My nephew & I spent most of Saturday afternoon hanging 47 signs with his pic, pertinent information, etc. and guess what, he came home that night. Chance? Don't know but maybe whoever took him in, let him out when they saw the signs...
If you have a good pic I can make up signs for you... email me privately... ghfg_intl@yahoo.com
