Judee was a welcomed addition to the Martin family today! James, Dennise, and their 2 sons are going to show Judee what it means to be loved forever. The boys were very excited to take home their new puppy.

Thank you for opening your hearts and home to a rescued puppy. It means so much to us to know that our little girl is going to a family that will love her as much as we do.

Jen and Patty:

Judee is now Bailey. Bailey fell asleep in Daddy's arms on the way home
Thursday, but was wide awake when we walked through the door of her new home.
Thursday night was full of excitement, new sites and scents and lots of pee
accidents, like every 20 minutes. Oh well, new place, nerves and excitement,
luckily most were on our laminate flooring and not carpet. We didn't get
to bed until after 10P. Bailey was up at 2:00A as she had pooped and peed her
crate and wanted the maid to clean up her mess. Then she was up for the day at
5A when Jim got up for work. So I was also up at 5A but it was a good morning
as Bailey helped me get ready for work and laid between my feet with her head on
my foot as I did my hair and makeup....too cute. Friday went better I came home
for lunch, Bailey was in crate for 4 hours and had already peeped the crate, I
took her out and she immediately peeped. Last night was the better and she only
had 2 accidents in the house and got to spend more time with us in the carpeted
areas playing and snuggling. She likes to snuggle. See pictures. Saturday
morning is going very well. Bailey is a very sweet little girl. She is eager
to please, is a good listener, good on the leash and just an awesome sweet,
loving puppy. God answered our prayers with Bailey as we had been praying and
leaving it to God to bring us our new family member. With patience and love we
will get through this potty training and look forward to many many years of
laughter and cuteness with Bailey. Thanks for taking such good care of her,
you can certainly tell from her behavior that she was with loving people that
helped build her foundation. She is so sweet and everyone we have shown her
pictures too agree that she is very cute.

We will stay in touch and forward pictures of our little Bailey girl (aka Miss
Bailey).

Best Regards

Jennifer and Patty:

Bailey is doing good and continues to make herself at home and is a true member
of our family. She is a very sweet and cuddly girl. Ryan and Jerame can really
get her "happy meter" going (tail wagging). Potty training,
however, is going very slow and she still has (pee) accidents in the house even
though I watch the clock like crazy and take her out often and give her plenty
of opportunities to empty her bladder. She is a magical dog in that she drinks
a splash of water and turns it into a gallon of pee smile.gif We'll keep at it
with postive reinforcement and patience - someday it will click. She still
hasnt' slept through the night often getting up at 1A and then again at 4A -
way too early for me. I get up and take her outside and she goes potty. I feed
her twice a day 6:30A and 5:30P and limit her water without dehydrating her.
How many bowel movements does a typically dog have with 2 feedings? She seems
to have 6 during a 24-hour period. She plays and gets fresh air everyday and I
take her out at 10P to go potty and then she goes right to bed in the cage.
Any suggests you can give to help with potty training and getting her to sleep
through the night would be wonderful. Is it possible to talk to someone to get
advice on potty training? I would appreciate any suggestions from people who
have gone through it before. I definitely notice a stubborn side of her when it
comes to potty training and walking - her nose really leads her smile.gif

She's growing so you will notice a change in her when you see her on the
23rd.
She was 11 pounds when we brought her home she is now 13.5 pounds and getting
long like a slinky as she loves sliding under the dinning room table and beds.

Best Regards,
Kritter
Bailey came in to the vet clinic for her yearly updates this weekend. She is doing wonderful and the family is very happy with her. I still don't believe them though when they say she's calm at home. She's such a happy girl she can't stop moving!
