This program is a partnership of the ProPlan dog food brand and pet rescue organizations across the county dedicated to increasing awareness of pet rescue. Partner rescue organizations are called Ambassadors. We applied via an application and once we were accepted we received an Event Kit which included a pop-up tent, flags, flag poles, banner, curb signs and an Information Stand that comes with shopping lists/coupons and Pro Plan product selection guides.for us to use at any fundraising events. We also received twenty-five adoption kits, twenty-five collar & wristband sets, twenty-five informational mini cards and twenty-five purple Rally to Rescue™ T-Shirts. They suggested we sell the t shirts at $15 each, they are very nice quality you can see them at the Rally to Rescue website (www.rallytorescue.com).
In return for all the fundraising materials we are required to do at least 6 events per year, 4 of which must be at a retail store that sells ProPlan brand dog food. In return we are qualified for a FREE donation of ProPlan dog food once a year. This last December we received 56 20lb bags of the new ProPlan shredded blend dog food. We can also get points towards 5$ coupons for Proplan by doing more than the required 6 events (We have to submit pictures that show us using the tent,banners, etc along with an event recap form)
The adoption kits are free and you can get them for dogs or cats. They are really nice folders that we use to give to our adopters with all the medical and microchip information on the dogs.
