Porter slipped out the front door when I got home from work on Tuesday, January 6th. He has been gone since. He was an indoor/outdoor cat when we lived out in the country and never stayed gone for more than 12 hours. He has still not returned home and none of my neighbors have seen him. We live on Huron Rd in Linwood, between Prevo and Anderson Rds.
Porter is a 4 year old, black and white, DSH, neutered, has all his claws. Was wearing a purple and green collar with name/address/phone number, but it was a break away and may not be on him any longer.
I have posters up at local restaurants and party stores near my home and placed lost ads in the Bay City Times and Pinconning Journal.
I have not seen him dead on the side of the road and am still hoping he comes home.
He is not a super sweet cat. He's more of an ass actually. If he were to show up in a vet hospital or animal control, he would test positive for feline AIDs because he has been vaccinated against the disease. Also, he would be a handful for them. He's not nice when forced to do what he doesn't want.
If anyone hears of a cat matching his description, or is at an animal control and sees him, please call me! 989-297-0391
