Our little Goldie was rescued from Midland County Animal Control, Where she was in danger of being pts or sold to a class B dealer and sold to be used for research.

But thanks to Mattie, Both Carl and Goldie are in new homes with loving families that think the world of them. Kathy and her family adopted Goldie and changed her name to honor her rescuer Mattie. Kathy learned of Goldie from her daughter a former adopter of River. So now both mother and daughter will share in the joy of owning a rescued dog, formerly unloved and unwanted.

Mattie will have a 9 year old yorkie sibling.

Unfortunately we did not get a happy ending picture but we are hopeful that Kathy will give us updates and pictures.

I wanted to update you on mattie. She is a great dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We adopted her for my stepdad and she is his pride and joy, she goes everywhere with him........ when he leaves without her she sits at the window and waits for him to get home.. She is very spoiled!!!!!! she gets a hug and kiss when he gets home before my mom does!!!!! She minds so well and is a joy to be around.. I am so glad we found her for him.. We will be sending some pictures to post soon..
