Andy is a young male Min Pin who was found wandering the street in Monroe County with a very obvious injury to both legs on his right side, he was taken to Animal Control in hopes his owner would reclaim him. When it became apparent this would not occur arrangements were made to bring him to us. Sadly Andy had an old untreated crushing injury to his right front foot which healed with a bend in it making it difficult to use, he also had a fracture of his right rear leg which needed surgery to pin the two peices of bone together. It is estimated that Andy suffered with this fracture for a week to 10 days prior to his surgery on March 8th. As you can imagine with his front leg in a splint in hopes to help straighten the foot and his rear leg still painful and swollen from the surgery his mobility is extremely limited. We are hoping for a good recovery for his rear leg but it will be several weeks before we know the outcome
