Our energetic wired for sound little girl Marmanellie has raced into the hearts of her new family Melissa and Nathan Hall. She will have a new brother in Mister Bo and even a uncle rat terrier in Samy Baby to romp and play with. Melissa works out of her home so what could be better than a at home momma to shower Nellie with love and attention.

Thank you Melissa and Nathan for opening your hearts and home to Our sweet Marmanellie Love her lots and please send many updates and pictures as she becomes the newest member of the Hall family.

Thank you Melissa and Nathan for choosing to adopt a rescued dog. It looks to me like Marmanellie has found the perfect forever family. We hope you will join the forum and keep us updated on this sweet girl.

Sherri—

Just wanted to give you an update on Nellie girl. She seems VERY happy here. She loves the fact that there are always kids around and really enjoys the company of her big brother Mister Bo & her cousin Sammy Baby Girl. She LOVES to play with her new toys. She really enjoys being outdoors. All this snow we have hasn't slowed her down one bit!!

It took her a little while to adjust to daddy & Grandpa Peter. But she's finally let her guard down and accepted that they are here just to spoil her rotton as well! She's been staying in bed w/ daddy a lot the past couple days because he has been sick. She's SUCH a sweetheart!! I've gotten a few pics, I will attach those. She's playing king of the mountain with Sammy Baby in one picture. There's also a picture of her big brother Mister Bo. The picture of her smiling is the day we brought her home. She was very excited & happy. There are also a couple of pictures of her taking it easy at Grandpa's house!

She's been a blessing in so many ways! We're glad to have her as a member of the family!

Sincerely,
crow_noir
To be honest I was a little jealous at first that she wasn't coming home with me (not that I even applied for her,) but all that is gone now. I couldn't begin to give her the life she has now. Hearing how wonderful she is doing has made me truly happy! (I can't quit smiling. I've reread this two times.)

Congrats (again) to Marmanellie and her new family!!! wub.gif biggrin.gif

Hi guys! It has been a while since I last updated you all on Nellie Girl.
She's doing GREAT!! She just went to the vet for the first time for her
yearly shots and such. Mister Bo loves his little sister so much. They play
and wrestle until both of them have to just lay on the floor like dead dogs
to catch their breaths. They are quite the little duo! She's been going out
in the woods with us mushroom hunting earlier in the year, she's been
4-wheeling with us, and LOVES going to visit her Grandpa Peter with Mister
Bo. This last week-end some friends from downstate came up. She made a new
friend "Bear". They had a blast at the sand pits wrestling while the kids
rode their quads around. She has LOVED having all the daycare kiddos here
during the summer. She curls up and takes naps with the older ones during
the afternoons, steals all their stuffed animals that they leave laying
around the house and hides them in her "bed" which is under our bed. She
keeps these kids on their toes! She LOVES going outside and running &
playing. She even likes to lay out in the sun during the heat of the day!
Crazy dog! LoL Anyhow.. just wanted to let you know she was doing well.
Attached are a few recent pictures. The first picture is of Bo & Nellie in
the wrecker on a long haul with us! They love to ride! The second picture is
Nellie guarding a bone she just retrieved from the bone dish in the bedroom.
She LOVES her bone treats!! The third picture is Nellie at the sand pits.
She refused to look at the camera! The fourth picture is her playing in the
sand with her new friend "Bear."

I found an old e-mail with the link to this forum again. I have to apologize for losing it & not keeping updated.

Nellie is still one happy, healthy doggy! She's even more excited now that Grandpa Peter has recently retired & she gets to have even MORE sleepovers at his house!! 9 months ago we got a new addition to the family.. she now has a little brother named Oren!! She adjusted very well to having a new baby in the house & loves it now that he's starting to take interest in her as well. She's such an awesome dog to have around kids. She's also loving the fact that it's summer vacation so there are always LOTS of kids here for her to play with!

Here are some recent pictures...

Last week out for a walk in the woods behind our home..

Her favorite part of Grandpa's house is her "treat bones"..
