Boots is a 12 week old sheltie that was rescued from the local shelter. He received his name due to his white paws! He is playful and is doing very well on his housebreaking. He is a very active dog, so a fenced yard would be best for this little man. He is very sweet and likes to cuddle. He is also good with other dogs. He would make a good family pet. At this time we are anticipating he will be between 25-45 lbs full grown.

Well we thought boots was a very young puppy, but he is actually
about 6 months based on his teeth. He has been neutered and given
his initial shots. He appears very healthy and is full of energy. A
very happy little boy he loves to run and play with his foster
brother. He would be great with kids in elementary school and older
as he loves to play, run, jump and fetch the tennis ball. His
housebreaking is coming along fantastic. He is doing well in his
crate and sleeps there without much fuss. He will cuddle on your lap
when he tires out! He is about 15 lbs and will be a smaller dog when
full grown.

Way to go Boots, you have a forever home !!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to the Pryor Family for giving the little guy a Forever home.

Hi everyone! We adopted Boots last Saturday and would love to update everyone on him.
Boots has become one of the family and I think he truly believes he is one of the kids! He has transitioned well, and he didn't seem to be depressed or phased at all by the change in home. I think the kids and all the attention kept his mind off of it. He really LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the kids! And he is SUCH a cuddler. He loves to go for car rides and I take him to pick the kids up from school everyday. We are enrolling him in doggy obedience classes in February and after he completes that we will go on to agility training. I think he will do AWESOME at it! Oh, and just so everyone knows, the pic of him on top is so cute, but not even half as cute as he is in person! Hi is like a living stuffed animal! Boots is coming along well with his potty training. He does very well in his crate too.
I just want to thank Michelle for saving this precious baby boy and bringing him into our family. He is well loved and a perfect fit for us! I will post some new pictures of him as soon as I can! Thank you again Michelle!

Hi again from boots' parents. Boots is getting along well and has got to travel to many places with us this year. He has a friend "tater" at my dad's house in Ypsilanti and Skidley at my brother's house in Grand Rapids. He saw alot of them this year and it made us thing that maybe he needs a companion at home too. We saw a dog on Petfinder from your facility named Royal. She looks perfect for Boots but we would like to get them together to find out if they would get along. Boots seems to get along with everyone at the dog park, but he was well socialized from the start. How is Royal and is she still there. Boots and his family would like to meet her.
