Just wanted to let you all know that Home Interiors also has a fundraising program in which the organization receives 50% of all sales (excluding the sales tax). Here is a copy of their fall 2007 fundraising flyer. If you want more information about a Home Interiors fundraising opportunity, you can fill out and submit an online form to find a consultant closest to you. SCD did this fundraiser in the fall of 05 ($725.04), spring 06 ($627), fall 06 ($236) and spring 07 ($298.50), which allowed us to raise a total of $1886.54. Unlike the salsa fundraiser, you do need to pay a shipping and handling fee for the entire order so that money will come out of your earnings. What's nice is that your consultant will sort all the orders for you.

Here is a link for those with out PDF (or those like me whose computers have a severe allergic reaction to using AAR. lol)

(Make sure to open the window to full view. The page is LARGE.)

(Edit: OK, that doesn't do much good as there are no pictures. I'll leave it up just in case someone can get something useful from it.)

I think this would be a great fundraiser. I am personally a candle freak. They are all over my house, on every shelf ... not tables though ... too many kitties running around.

The salsa idea also sounds like a winner. I don't personally eat salsa, but most everyone else I know does.

I will have to check into these fundraisers. I wonder if you have to have an organization. I would love to raise some money for all my rescued kitties to help pay off vet bills so their adoptions fees could be less, but I am not an actual rescue. Laura and I just use our own money for the kitties we have at our clinics. I will have to look into it and maybe try for after the holiday. It would have been a great fundraiser if you could preorder a bunch of candles or salsa and have a table at a local bazaar or something like that. But the bazaars are happening now. Maybe that's a thought for next year.

You have to be an organization in order to do the Home Interiors. They will check and let you know if you have been approved.

With the salsa, you can do a sample and sell fundraiser. You can email Jose Madrid to get further details:
