Dismembered Animals Found in Youngstown Home

Humane Agents with Animal Charity in Youngstown are investigating what happened to some kittens and possibly other animals.

The incident happened in a house on Powers Way, on the city's south side.

Inside this home Humane Agent, John Hall found the dismembered remains of several kittens, including several skulls, legs and fur that was taken off of several animals.

City Leaders Advise to Call on Animal Abuse

Authorities say it was a concerned neighbor that alerted them to the abandoned home on Halleck Street in Youngstown where the dead and dying pets were found.

City leaders say putting a call in to the housing inspection department or police is exactly what you should do in cases where you spot neglected pets or just an abandoned and neglected home.

If the main concern is animals you can call also call the dog warden.
