Sadly, Maryellen's dog is still missing....I think home is Old Harrisville Road off 101 directly across from Dublin Pond....Maryellen was walking on her property with the dog and it got down the drive...Her IMPRESSION was that there was a car stopped on the road...but she could not really make it out well enough to see for sure if it was a car, a truck or a shadow...she was uphill and a distance away. her dog was down the drive barking. then the barking stopped...and the dog did not come back.
this is a well traveled road...if the dog had been hit, it would have been there for many to see, and there most likely would have been a sound of brakes/tires/dog scream...SOMETHING.

We think now that the dog was taken. Maryellen has flyers out and reward ads in all the papers. I hate it when this happens. thanks for any help you can give.

My dog's name is Bart. He is a beagle/lab mix with golden eyes, he's copper/tan colored everywhere except for white markings on his face/nose, chest, 4 white paws and a white-tipped tail. He's very friendly and neutered. He has been missing since Friday, January 4th from the area near 44th and Kalamazoo in Grand Rapids, MI. I have friends that live in the area who are available to be contacted if Bart is found. I live in South Carolina, I was just passing through when I lost him and am anxious for ANY information anyone may have.
