Over in a dark little forgotten corner of a money tracking site some of us still dwell in the old forum. Since there is only a handful of us left there we've become a rather tight knit group. As it turns out about half of us have pets. I think four of us have now dealt with loss in the past year or so.

Jack of the Midwest lost his little Otcee on Monday. She is one of my favorite dogs. I never got to meet her but Jack always described her as a sweetheart. So did one of the other forum members that got to meet her. To me she was beautiful both heart and soul. I've cried my eyes out. For some reason I was attached to her.

My sympathy goes out to Jack and his wife.

I begged God not to take her, but she is gone. Otcee was her name. My wife and I held her while she breathed her last breath last night at 11:00pm. She had some problem with her blood, the immune system was attacking the red blood cells. Shes been in an emergency clinic since Sat morning. The wife and I have cried about all night. Good bye you sweet dog. We'll miss you so much!! :`-( "

Please have some positive thoughts for Jack and his wife or send some prayers. They are taking this really hard. (And we really try to to talk to much about our pets in the other forum, since not everyone there are animal lovers. He even has to continue on with work... when clearly he's in no state to be doing anything. He's definitely appreciated my emails.)

If you want me to I can also pass on your sentiments to him.
