It really touches our heart and gives us faith when a Wonderful family like this takes one of our older special dobes.. Thank you sooooooo much for opening your hearts and home to Dugan..
You are not only Dugan hero but also ours.. You restore or hope in a kinder world that will one day treat pets like they should be instead of disposable.

My heart is broken tonight but, I know he will bring a smile to your family. He touched me so deeply and was so sweet in my home. Love this old boy to death but putting him in your home was the greatest gift I could give. The gift of life and love. Thank you, ARDA

You folks have hearts of gold. It's not too often we have adopters that are willing to take an older guy into their hearts. Dugan is a wonderful boy who deserves a comfy retirement. I'm sure he's found it in you. Spoil him rotten....he will repay you tenfold. Thank you!

Dugan is such a sweet heart. I cannot believe someone gave him up. you were right all Dugan wants is a place called home and boy does he fit in. The kids just love him. Even though he is 8 he still has allot of life in him, it's just so cute watching him run around with the kids (7 and 12). And at night he sleeps in bed with our son. How could we tell him to get off the bed he has the saddest eyes. Thank you to Arda and the staff. I tell everyone what you do.
Thanks,
Dugans mom

Thankyou! This was our prayer for Dugan. Finding him a family that would love and cherish him and it sounds like we made the right decision sending him home with you.

I know what you mean about his eyes! He's such a lover and he knows how to melt you with a look.
Thankyou for this update!
God BLess you and your family

I am not sure if you remember us, but we adopted Dugan, he was a senior Doberman. We adopted him Dec. 20th of 2003. I wanted to let you know we had him put to sleep on Thursday the 20th. His joints were so bad.
I want to thank you so much for him he was just so wonderful. He had a wonderful last year with us. Sometimes I think he would forget on how big he was because he would get up on our couch and lay on our laps, like a small dog would do. Its still hard on us and the kids to know he is not with us.
Sincerely,
Greg and Kelly Schiefer

I am so sorry. I think with love it's not the amount of time, but the quality of time and the last year of this big boy's life was probably his best and that's what he took with him. Again, I'm so sorry.
