RE: Animal Aid of Southwestern Michigan.
Animal Aid is a "shelter without walls" and a rescue for all pet
animals. The volunteers pull animals from shelters and abuse situations. As
Michigan is a Pound Seizure State (animals in pounds can be confiscated by
research facilities and used for experiments)...these good folks struggle
endlessly to save as many animals as possible.

A class at one of their local schools "adopted" Animal Aid as their
class project. The students have done fund raisers, made posters, had bake
sales, baked dog treats...all as part of their project.
These kids need encouragement. Please send them a little "thank you
card" for all their hard work and humane efforts:
