Mr & Mrs. Berkhof, THANK YOU for chosing adoption and adopting Raleigh. I am confident that you will never regret it. Adopted dogs somehow know what they have gained by being adopted. I have 3 now and they couldnt be more loyal and loving. Thanks again and please keep us updated on Raleigh's new life and with pictures if possible.
Kevin, way to go, again you two are very good at what you do.

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Raleigh is doing wonderful and we couldn't be happier to have him in our home! We have a nine year old German Shepherd at home as well and Raleigh loves to cuddle up to him and kiss his face. My sister brought her border collie (Champers, also a rescue dog) over to meet him and Champers adopted him right away! It touches my heart to see him play and look so carefree. I'm new at the forum's, but as soon as I figure out how to post pictures, I'd be glad to show you him in his new home. Have a wonderful day!

Hello! I just wanted to give up an update on Raleigh (now Milo). We absolutely adore him and are so thankful that he is part of our family! He's made himself very much at home and will try to lay down on anything that is soft. Needless to say, he rearranges our pillows for us and snuggles right in! He is in his third week of obedience training (school) and is excelling! He gets an hour of one to one time with his trainer and then spends the rest of the day playing with all of the other puppies. By the time he gets home at night, it's all he can do to eat his dinner and climb on to our bed for a nap. biggrin.gif

It's been so fun to watch him gain confidence in himself and his new home. He holds his head up tall and proud and those beautiful ears of his are all the way up! He loves all of his toys and likes to try to steal toys right from our other German Shepherd's (Cody) mouth. And so the tug of war continues.... His cousins (a border collie and beagle) come over to play alot and my house is wondefully chaotic with all of them running around!

I do have pictures of him that I would like to share, but I don't know how to get them on here. sad.gif
