Full Version: Bridgette (now Abbey) Is Finally Home

Bridgette, now known as Abbey is in her forever home with her new parents Linda and Bill. This poor little girl was so abused and neglected by her original owner, that she cowers a lot. However, her need to get "lovies" was strong enough to override her fear of being hurt so she would slink up to people and get petted. She took an instant liking to Linda, who wasn't even here to pick out a new fur-kid, and got inside Linda's heart. This is another example of, "Things happen cause they're supposed to." Linda couldn't stop thinking about Bridgette, and called me the next day to claim her. She didn't have to "claim" the dog though, because Bridgette had already picked Linda to be her new mom when they first met. I could tell it was happening, and it is quite something to see. These lost souls can tell the difference between regular company and perspective new parents. They act completely different with the two groups, they know who they like, and they actually pick out thier own people. Abbey now has two kind, gentle, and loving people to help her blossom into the confident, outgoing little girl hiding inside. She will now be able to be happy and learn the joy of being a dog, and the security of belonging someplace. Thank you Linda and Bill.

Thank you Linda and Bill for giving Abbey the best Christmas present she could ever receive, a forever
home. These abused ones do not give their trust to many people. I believe that they can sense who will be kind to them and who wont. I also have one of those, Annie our English Pointer. Severely abused, ten months old when we got her or should I say she chose us. Well enough of that, I am confident that Abbey has chosen well and I Thank You Both for choosing adoption. Please keep us updated on Abbey and with pictures if possible.
