In Detroit at the zoo they have an adoption weekend. Shelters and rescue groups take dogs and cats of all ages and sizes to the zoo to be adopted. I have talked to people and they say it is a huge success. Why couldn't we have one around here. Bay city maybe? I know I would be willing to help organize and give up a weekend to help the adoption process. Just an idea I had.
