I HAD A SMALL CHIWAA ABOUT 8 MONTHS OLD I LOVED THIS DOG I HAD A ROOMATE THAT LIVED WITH ME FOUND OUT SHE HAD BEN MISS TREATING MY DOGS WHILE I WAS AWAY LIKE STICKING THEM IN THE GARGE NOT HEATED IN THE WINTER HER SON WAS VERY ABUSIVE TO THEM I HAD MADE THE RULE HE WAS NOT ALOUD TO TOUCH MY ANIMALS WELL MY MOTHER HAD A STOKE SO I HAD MY ROOMMATE WATCHING THE BOYS WHILE I WAS TAKING CARE OF MY MOTHER LONG STORY SHORT TACO DIED FROM AMONIA AND HER SON THROWING HIM DOWN THE STEPS ! I CRIED FOR HOURS WHEN THE VET CALLED! NEEDLESS TO SAY SHE NO LONGER LIVES HERE I STILLL HAVE ZUES I'LL NEVER GET RID OF HIM , NOW I AM LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DOG SMALL LIKE TACO!

I'm sorry to hear of your loss, I don't mean to be rude but why would you leave the dog that you love with a roommate that you know is abusive, I would have tossed my roommate out in the street after I showed her what abuse was . The animals we bring home look to us to take care of them and they deserve to be treated with the best care and all of the love we can give them , they can't speak up like we can , I would be very careful next time you have to leave your baby., and again I'm sorry about Taco
