Golly Boy (GB) The White Knight Of Second Chance Dobes

Passionate controversies have raged over the albino or " white "
Doberman pinscher ever since the first albino Doberman was born,
Padula's Queen Shebah in 1976.
1996, all dogs who are descended from albinos carry special registration numbers
"z" numbers -- to warn breeders that these dogs may be carrying the this trait.
But Greed for the All mighty dollar gave these unethical breeders the reason to use
and abuse advertising the RARE White Doberman, not mentioning the poor vision
and medical problems both you and your offspring must endure.

Abused and battered they carried you in, a creature so misunderstood.
You were used for profit and greed.
Your offspring being sold to anyone with a dollar.
How could we make you understand, trust, and love?
We could heal your broken jaw and body, but could we heal your crushed spirit?

It was our mistake thinking we were healing you, Golly Boy.
When the truth is your strength and spirit healed us.
You have taught us lessons on forgiveness, loyalty, and love.
You became our protector, friend, and soul.

When we thought all was lost and your body was finally failing you.
Your years of abuse had finally taken it toll.
It was your spirit and love for us gave us our miracle, and you stood
Proud and noble and your love for us shined. Not many in this world get to see
A miracle but GB you will always be ours.

I'm saddened by your loss. You're in my thoughts. Enid and I lost our rescued girl Tasha last year of cardio on Dec. 23rd. She was only six and a half years old. We got her when she was three and a half. Her previous life had been spent mostly in a crate. I feel your pain.

We are so sorry to hear you lost Golly, I remember whe you got him &
his kids, turned in from a breeder in warren who couldnt afford to feed them
anymore. He was about 3 then, his kids were about 6 monthes old. You
found homes for the kids except his white daughter-Puff. It was a new
learning experience for you having the whites!!! Having them tested/xrayed
to see what they were..... When it snowed, you didnt realize they needed
sunglasses in the sunlight in the snow as they running & crashed into each
other..... I remember the Dobe club of Mich fun match you brought Golly
to. People crowded around you to see him, he behaved himself very well.
By that time he was your protector & watched over you. The breeders
who dont breed whites wanted to see what one looked like. Now there
are soooo many around.
We came to help at the kennel a couple sundays & I remember cutting/grinding
his nails & not knowing what to expect, you held him & he was fine.
He trusted you to do the right thing for him, & you did it for the rest of his
days..... Take Heart in that....
Losing him to Cardio, is not a good way to go, but no way is good when
he was your loyal friend....
I saw him just the sunday before when I was there, but they go so quickly...
Rest in peace Golly.... Know you were LOVED by many.....

I am so deeply sorry to hear about this wonderful boy you lost. I lost my baby Apollo in Oct. due to DCM. Its a horrible disease that sneaks into their lives, taking them way before their time.
Thanks to you, i have Eva to fill me with happiness once again. She is a wonderful companion.
People ask how can you stay with the breed? For me there is no other breed, the doberman is "the" dog.

I feel your pain! I'm soo sorry you lost Good Boy, but you also found him, which I am sure his is still thankful for. Always remember that and he had a good life because of all you did for him along with all the other Dobermans you save! Thank you Arda for not giving up even though the sorrow of losing them is so deep you are a very strong woman!
